Want Perfect Teeth?
Perfect teeth are a dream for most people. For a smile that's free of decay and fillings, you'll want to work with an advanced dentist. Light Touch Dental Laser and Implant Center doesn't just brush your teeth, fill your cavities, and call it a day; we also provide CEREC. CEREC is a method used by thousands of dentists all over the world. Not only does it replace fillings, but it also restores your smile. Better yet, it's all-ceramic to make it look as natural as possible.
So What Is CEREC?
CEREC is an advanced dental restorative system that allows your dentist to restore decayed teeth, replace crowns, remove defective amalgam fillings, or place cosmetic veneers in one fast appointment. CEREC provides you with the highest-quality solutions amidst your busy life.
CEREC Is An Acronym. This Is What CEREC Stands For:
- Chairside: The technology is in the dental operatory and is used while you're seated in the chair.
- Economical: The procedure is affordable for both the dentist and patient.
- Restorations: The procedure restores your tooth to its natural beauty, function, and strength.
- Esthetic: The restorations are metal free and tooth colored.
- Ceramic: High-strength ceramics are used to create that natural look.
CEREC Is A Process
Dr. Spurling and his team will examine your teeth to determine the appropriate treatment. From there, we will administer and prepare your teeth for restoration. The preparation is similar to what we do for many other restorative procedures.
Dr. Spurling will make an impression of your teeth and fill in a tray with some "goop." Then, you'll bite into the tray and create a mold. After that, we use your mold to create digital imagery of your teeth. The entire optical impression takes a minute or two.
Next, the CEREC machine helps Dr. Spurling create the restoration for your teeth. CEREC uses 3D software to take digital pictures of your mouth. Within a few minutes, the image can help Dr. Spurling create data and send it over to a separate machine in the office. 10-20 minutes later, your all-ceramic, tooth-colored restoration is ready to bond in place. Finally, your restoration is fit to your mouth. The result is permanent, and there are no "temporaries" or return visits.
